Bolivia-Weekly, 22-September-2011: In an interview with the Telesur television network, Bolivian President Evo Morales said that the Transitional Council of Libya causes insecurities for countries becuase it arose from a coup d'état against the government of Muammar Gaddafi. Because of this, Morales said that Bolivia will not recognize that body as the government of Libya. "It is impossible to recognize the alleged transitional authorities in Libya," he said. "The world knows that there has been a coup [originating] from the [U.N.] Security Council."
Morales said that the conflict erupted in Libya because "some countries have much interest in Libyan oil."
